Acclaimed author Kent Nerburn will speak about chasms and connections between Native Americans and non-native cultures in the United States. In this presentation, Nerburn will weave spiritual values, the sacredness of land, and Native American perspectives on the changing world. Nerburn has garnered numerous awards for his books including: Neither Wolf Nor Dog and The Wolf at Twilight.

Fee: $20/person

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County teams up with the St. Charles Park District, and the Geneva Park District to offer a series of classes for ages 16 and above, focusing on a variety of topics in local ecology. The following classes offer in-depth information and learning opportunities.
