Call for Proposals for the 2016 EEAI Conference and Annual Meeting in Canton, Illinois on March 11 & 12, 2016

The Environmental Education Association of Illinois (EEAI) is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2016 Conference and Annual Meeting in Canton, Illinois on March 11 & 12, 2016EEAI is accepting proposals throughDecember 15, 2015. Submitting presenters will be notified of the outcome of the proposal review process no later than January 15, 2016.

2016 EEAI Conference Strands:
  • Rewind, Remember and Research Our Roots: Environmental Education History and Research
  • Recharge: New Knowledge or Skills in Environmental Education
  • Redirect: Develop New Ways to Partner and Excite
  • Restore: Refreshing Old Skills and Restore the Spirit of Environmental Education
Speakers will present 50-minute sessions or 110-minute sessions (limited number) on Friday March 11, 2016 at Spoon River College. Three- or six-hour-long workshops will be presented on Saturday March 12, 2016.
EEAI is a statewide, nonprofit, professional organization with the purpose of maintaining a vital network that supports and advances quality environmental education throughout the state. Membership consists of classroom teachers (preK-12), non-formal educators, natural resource professionals, professors, university students.
